The former capital of Japan, Kyoto is known for its traditional Japanese landmarks such as Kinkakuji and Fushimi Inari. Osaka, on the other hand, is a modern port city and home to the impressive Osaka Castle.
I found this tranquil little piece of the world when climbing Mount Inari. This group of shrines were about one third of the way up the mountain. I could have stayed here all day.
